The Appalachian Region
Some inquiries we are conducting:
1. How do landforms influence ways of making a living?
2. How might having a variety of landforms in one region benefit those who live there?
3. What is the difference between climate and weather?
4. What is the climate like in the Appalachian region?
5. How do bodies of water influence where settlements are located?
6. Why do people need to take care of bodies of water?
7. What does a natural resource contribute to the identity of a community?
8. What happens to a community that depends on a natural resource when times change?
9. How can archaeologists help us create the past?
